Cheque Deposits

Cheque deposits made either to your Dubai Islamic Bank account or card, are credited to your account on clearance.

Step 1 Access your Online Banking/Mobile Banking
Step 2 Select ‘Remit to ATM’ under the transfers tab and fill in the required details
Step 3 Share the 7-digit transaction reference, 6-digit secret code and amount with your beneficiary
Step 4 Beneficiary can withdraw the cash from the nearest DIB ATM, by tapping on Remit to ATM tab*

*Remit To ATM Transactions are valid for 48 hours .The code will expire if not used within the specified timeframe.
Please DO NOT share the Remit to ATM code with anyone . This is a confidential information ,as cash withdrawal will be permitted via this information .

Information Security.

To ensure your personal information is kept safe at all times, here are some general tips you should always follow:

Keep your credit card and debit cards safe. Do not share your Personal Identification Number (PIN) with anyone
Do not keep any written copy of your PIN with the card
Do not write your PIN on the card
To protect your account, DIB recommends that you change your PIN regularly
Do not force your card into the card slot
Do not insert your card until asked to do so by the display screen
Never hurry when using an ATM. Make sure you are not distracted, intimidated or rushed into your transaction

Cash or Cheque Deposits

No envelopes or deposit slips are required for CCDM deposits
A scanned image of the cheque will be printed on the receipt for your reference
Account deposits can be made by either inserting the debit card or manually entering the account number
Credit card deposits can be made by either inserting the credit card or manually entering the card number
Cash deposits to accounts can be done for up to AED 200,000 per day/per account
Cash deposits can be made in any denomination above AED 5

Misplaced or Stolen Card

If your card has been misplaced/stolen, immediately request the Bank to have the same blocked through any of the following ways:

DIB alt phone banking - Call 04-609 2222 and select option # 3 from the main menu
alt online / alt mobile / Express Banking Terminals - Go to Cards -> Block Card
Branch – Visit Customer Service / Helpdesk counter

Skimming Precautions

Be vigilant against skimming devices at ATMs while using your Debit Card/Credit Card. It is advisable to check for the following:

ATM keypads are fitted within the body of the ATM machine and are not protruding above the base
Ensure no additional device is fitted on the card reader
Cancel and cut up unused credit and other cards
Inform the Bank of the cards you are not using
Safe-keep or securely dispose of your ATM receipts
Review your banking account/statements periodically to identify any unauthorized activity in your account
It is recommended that you register for the SMS Banking* service. This will enable you to receive alerts on your mobile for all financial transactions undertaken at the ATM*
