Currently, DIB alt on WhatsApp is only available in English.
How do I book Easy Payment Plan (EPP)?
It’s very easy, select Cards Services from main menu, then select Easy Payment Plan from the sub menu. All eligible transactions will be available in the picklist. Select one transaction at a time, select tenor, verify by entering OTP and your transaction is booked instantly.
Who can subscribe for this service?
Any existing individual DIB customer who has any of the following banking products from DIB such as Current/Savings Accounts, Credit Cards, Personal Finance, Auto Finance, Home Finance and so on can Subscribe to DIB alt on WhatsApp.
Non DIB customers can also subscribe for limited services such as branch / ATM locations, how to open an account, opt out of marketing messages etc.
How do I unsubscribe for DIB alt on WhatsApp?
You can simply write ‘Unsubscribe’ and verify your required details.
Is it safe to use DIB alt on WhatsApp?
We are following WhatsApp standards for secured and encrypted conversations. To ensure that you are talking to Dubai Islamic Bank on WhatsApp, look for the “verified” green tick/badge next to the name which confirms that this is a verified business account.
How do I take cash against my credit card?
Just select Cards Services from the main menu, select cash on your credit card from the sub menu. Maximum amount will be displayed, enter your preferred amount (minimum AED 1,000), select tenor, verify by entering OTP and money is transferred instantly to your preferred account.
My mobile number is linked to multiple relationships, can I use DIB alt on WhatsApp?
To access DIB alt on WhatsApp, your mobile number needs to be linked to one profile only i.e. it cannot be linked to more than one relationship. You can update unique mobile numbers for each of your relationship by visiting any of our ATMs. To know how

DIB alt on WhatsApp is a free service for all DIB customers.
I don’t have any relationship with Dubai Islamic Bank, can I subscribe for DIB alt on WhatsApp?
Yes you can! Now non DIB customers can also subscribe for limited services such as branch / ATM locations, how to open an account, opt out of marketing messages etc.
Can I use my international mobile number for DIB alt on WhatsApp?
Currently, only individual customers with UAE mobile numbers can register for this service.
Can I block my card through DIB alt on WhatsApp?
Yes! You can block your credit / debit card via DIB alt on WhatsApp at any time. Select card block and replacement from the main menu (or from cards services), select the card and verify by entering OTP. Your card will be blocked instantly and replacement will be sent via courier to your registered address.
Will I need to enter any personal information for using DIB alt on WhatsApp?
Dubai Islamic Bank will never ask you to share your personal information such as PIN, registered mobile number or email ID via DIB alt on WhatsApp. Depending on your enquiry, you may be asked to input 7 digits of your CIF number, your 15 digits account number or last 6 digits of your Card number.
