DIB alt services (mobile & Internet) is now accessible through UAE Pass (the national digital identity solution for the UAE).
This would allow registered users to use instant authentication feature of the UAE Pass to login to mobile & internet banking channels & avail all services offered.
Yes, existing login options to channels are not affected and will remain. This is being offered as alternative to existing logging in mechanisms (user ID / pwd & quick login)
At this point the service is available to users who have an EID and registered for UAE PASS
First time UAE PASS account will be linked to your existing DIB profile and you will be guided to complete the process using your existing DIB login credentials.
This is a onetime process, your future login's through UAE PASS will be seamless.
In order to change Mobile Number and or email id with DIB Mobile or Online user has to follow below simple steps:
Login to Mobile App via UAE PASS
Login to Online Banking via UAE PASS
Change of mobile number and or email address is only available to those users who login using UAE PASS. If you have already logged in using the standard way, you must log out and re-login using UAE PASS.
Once request is submitted the information will be updated in 24 hrs. Only one request can be submitted at a time. The second request can be submitted post the first one is approved.
User will be informed via email and SMS once the request is approved and information updated.
