Complimentary Airport Lounge Access

Visa Airport Companion is a fully digital app provided by the travel and lifestyle platform, DragonPass. It covers 1,200 airport lounges globally and is already used by millions of Visa cardholders worldwide.

You must download the Visa Airport Companion app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once the app is downloaded, select Sign Up and input the information requested, such as

• Eligible DIB Visa Signature or Infinite Card details and issuing country
• Name, email address, and mobile number
• Consent to Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use

A six-digit code will be sent to your mobile number or email address for verification. After successful verification, you will be asked to create a password and directed to the app home screen where you can access your benefits.

Eligible DIB Visa Signature or Infinite Cardholders will be able to download and register on the Visa Airport Companion app from September 19, 2024. Access to lounges via the app begins from October 1, 2024

No, you won't be able to access lounges using your physical DIB Card. Effective 01 October 2024, digital membership generated via Visa Airport Companion app must be presented at the participating airport lounge to enjoy access. 

Yes, should you receive a new card (due to loss, theft, or expiration), you'll need to update the details accordingly.

Customers can view their digital membership by clicking on the Membership button on the app homepage. Entitlement details are also displayed in this section

No, registration must be completed via the app before you can access the lounge. You can register from anywhere with an internet connection. We highly recommend registering prior to arriving at the lounge to ensure a seamless entry experience. 

Yes, it is mandatory for eligible Primary and Supplementary DIB Visa Infinite and/or Signature cardholders to register their Cards with Visa Airport Companion app. Each supplementary cardholder must register their own account with Visa Airport Companion App, using their personal details, including their name as per their passport and their email address. Lounge access will be denied if it does not match the cardholder’s identity

Yes, you are welcome to bring guests to the lounges. If you do not have complimentary guest visits as per your DIB Card eligibility, you can still invite guests for an additional fee, which will be charged to your registered DIB Visa card. 

• First visit to the airport lounge in a calendar year is complimentary.
• To utilize the subsequent complimentary visits in the same calendar year, spend criteria of foreign currency spend of USD 1 or equivalent must be met, on both primary & supplementary cards minimum 15 days prior the lounge visit.
• If the spend criteria is not met, a charge of US $32 per usage will be levied to the card used for the lounge visit. 

Visa Airport Companion App is a fully digital, app-based experience. Unfortunately, without a smartphone, you will be unable to utilize this service. 

Yes, you can enable offline access through your device’s biometrics. Upon registration, you will be prompted to enable offline access, however this must be completed while the App is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. This feature can also be managed in the 'Account' section under 'Security'. When offline, you will see a prompt on the login page to view your membership without internet. Confirm using your biometrics to proceed.

Yes, you can add multiple eligible Visa cards to your Visa Airport Companion account. Simply navigate to the membership page and select 'Add new membership' to enter the details of your additional card. Once validated, a new membership linked to that card will be created. You can easily switch between memberships by selecting 'Switch membership' on the membership page.

Lounge access is subject to availability on the day of your travel. If the lounge is at capacity, we recommend checking the app for alternative lounges you may visit.
