WHAT IS ISLAMIC SUKUK?

Islamic financial certificates or Sukuk, are securities that represent undivided ownership interest in tangible assets related to specific projects or investment opportunities.

Sukuk securities are structured to comply with Sharia by paying profit – not interest. It is mostly issued by Sovereign Government, large corporations, quasi-government entities and private sectors to raise fund for various requirements.

Sukuk is quoted and traded widely in the secondary market reflecting current yield on investment. We being the largest Islamic Bank in the UAE cater a diverse array of investors.
