All you need to do is make a minimum of one transaction to qualify in the draw. More the transactions, more entries into the draw.

List of eligible transactions (to qualify for the draw):

  • Open a new bank account (for new customers only) or register to the following channels (first time subscriptions only):
  • Get Salary in Advance
  • Transfer funds internationally (including Express Transfer)
  • Avail Cash on card
  • Opt for Easy payment plan
  • Use Balance transfer
  • Make Early settlement
  • Convert Full credit card balance
  • Open term/Wakala deposit
  • Avail Personal Finance
  • Apply for Credit Card


Campaign period: August 16, 2023 to September 24, 2023.

Note: Winners will be announced during the Customer Service Week (1st week of October, 2023).

 

Terms & Conditions

  • The campaign is effective /will run from 16 August, 2023, until 24 September, 2023.
  • New to bank customers are eligible to enter the draw by opening an account with Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC via digital channels, even if they did not conduct any of the financial transactions given in the table below*.
  • Existing customers require a minimum of one transaction to participate in the draw. If multiple transactions are conducted, they qualify for multiple entries into the draw. Please refer to the list of eligible transactions in the table given below*.
  • Each prize will consist of the cash equivalent of an Apple iPhone 14 (AED 4,500 each), which will be credited to the winner’s account held with DIB within sixty days from the draw date.
  • The winners will be notified by DIB via phone, SMS, or email and will be announced on social media by the first week of October 2023. Restriction: One customer can win only one prize.
  • Exclusions: DIB staff, customers with a non-active relationship, non-individual customers, Wajaha customers, joint accounts, blacklisted customers, customers whose available balance is less AED 0 or below, minors, customers who have opted out of marketing communications (DND list), and other bank exclusions.
  • Inclusions: Existing active DIB individual customers who have an account balance of more than AED 0, with a valid UAE mobile number.
  • This campaign will be applicable with/to existing DIB offers.

How do I enter the draw?
A minimum of one transaction with any alt channel (Mobile, WhatsApp, Online Banking or ATMs) is required to participate in the draw. If you conduct multiple transactions, you will qualify for multiple entries to the draw. Please refer to question three for a full list of eligible services.
Will I be eligible to participate in the draw if I have only opened an account in the last month?
Yes. Accounts opened during the campaign period using alt digital channels will earn one entry. Additionally, if you have subscribed to or transacted with any alt channel during the campaign period, you will also be eligible to the enter the draw.
What are the services that qualify me to participate in the draw?
  • Opening a new bank account via alt channels (new to bank customers only).
  • Registering for alt digital channels- Mobile Banking, WhatsApp or Online Banking (first time subscription only).
  • Availing the salary in advance facility.
  • International funds transfer (including Express Transfer)
  • Cash on card
  • Easy payment plan
  • Balance transfer
  • Early settlement
  • Full credit card balance conversion
  • Open term/Wakala deposit
  • Availing personal finance or credit cards
Will I have multiple entries to the draw if I make more than one transaction?
Yes. If you conduct multiple transactions using alt digital channels, you will qualify for multiple entries to the draw. Please refer to question three for a full list of eligible services.
Will I be eligible if I make a transaction through the branch?

No. Account opening, channel subscription and transactions are required to be made using only alt digital channels. The list of eligible channels is given below:

  • alt Mobile Banking
  • alt DIB via WhatsApp Banking
  • alt Online Banking
  • alt DIB ATMs
Will I be eligible to participate in the draw if I have only opened an account in the last month?

The campaign will run from 16 August, 2023 until 24 September, 2023.
Winners will be announced in the first week of October, 2023 during Customer Service Week.

Will I be eligible for the draw if I re-subscribe to WhatsApp?
Only first-time subscription is eligible for an entry into the draw. However, you can enter the draw by using any of the services listed under question three.
Are company or corporate accounts eligible for the draw?
No, they are not eligible. This campaign is for individual customers only.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in the first week of October, 2023 during Customer Service Week.
If I win, how will be informed?
All winners will be contacted by an official from DIB via phone call during the first week of October, 2023. They will update winning customers about the ceremony event details.
How is the draw administered?
As per UAE law, all draws in Dubai are administered under the supervision of the Dubai Economic Department (DED). All winners are announced in the presence of DED officials.
How will I receive the iPhone 14?
You will be credited the equivalent amount (AED 4,500) to your account directly. For further details, please refer to the campaign terms and conditions.

The value of iPhone14 shall be AED4,500 which will be credited to the winners account as per the applicable T&Cs.
