How do I enter the draw?
A minimum of one transaction with any alt channel (Mobile, WhatsApp, Online Banking or ATMs) is required to participate in the draw. If you conduct multiple transactions, you will qualify for multiple entries to the draw. Please refer to question three for a full list of eligible services.
Will I be eligible to participate in the draw if I have only opened an account in the last month?
Yes. Accounts opened during the campaign period using alt digital channels will earn one entry. Additionally, if you have subscribed to or transacted with any alt channel during the campaign period, you will also be eligible to the enter the draw.
What are the services that qualify me to participate in the draw?
- Opening a new bank account via alt channels (new to bank customers only).
- Registering for alt digital channels- Mobile Banking, WhatsApp or Online Banking (first time subscription only).
- Availing the salary in advance facility.
- International funds transfer (including Express Transfer)
- Cash on card
- Easy payment plan
- Balance transfer
- Early settlement
- Full credit card balance conversion
- Open term/Wakala deposit
- Availing personal finance or credit cards
Will I have multiple entries to the draw if I make more than one transaction?
Yes. If you conduct multiple transactions using alt digital channels, you will qualify for multiple entries to the draw. Please refer to question three for a full list of eligible services.
Will I be eligible if I make a transaction through the branch?
No. Account opening, channel subscription and transactions are required to be made using only alt digital channels. The list of eligible channels is given below:
- alt Mobile Banking
- alt DIB via WhatsApp Banking
- alt Online Banking
- alt DIB ATMs
Will I be eligible to participate in the draw if I have only opened an account in the last month?
The campaign will run from 16 August, 2023 until 24 September, 2023.
Winners will be announced in the first week of October, 2023 during Customer Service Week.
Will I be eligible for the draw if I re-subscribe to WhatsApp?
Only first-time subscription is eligible for an entry into the draw. However, you can enter the draw by using any of the services listed under question three.
Are company or corporate accounts eligible for the draw?
No, they are not eligible. This campaign is for individual customers only.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in the first week of October, 2023 during Customer Service Week.
If I win, how will be informed?
All winners will be contacted by an official from DIB via phone call during the first week of October, 2023.
They will update winning customers about the ceremony event details.
How is the draw administered?
As per UAE law, all draws in Dubai are administered under the supervision of the Dubai Economic Department (DED). All winners are announced in the presence of DED officials.
How will I receive the iPhone 14?
You will be credited the equivalent amount (AED 4,500) to your account directly. For further details, please refer to the campaign terms and conditions.
